VP, Capital Management

This position is with a well known financial services and insurance company. They are seeking a vice president of capital management. Compensation includes short term comp and long term incentive. The total compensation is expected to be in the $250,00+ range.

Responsible for the capital and liquidity management of client and each of its subsidiaries, including forecasting, performing scenario analysis, determining alternatives to improve position, and executing projects to improve the capital structure. With over $1.8 billion in capital as of 2010, this role reports to the SVP of Financial Administration who reports to the EVP, Treasurer and CFO. Responsibilities include:

Manage the process to determine the capital and liquidity position and needs of Client and each of its subsidiaries. Forecast the long term position under base and stress scenarios, coordinating with other departments on inputs and assumptions, including operating groups for business plans, financial planning and analysis for P&L forecast, Accounting for actual positions and balance sheet implications, and actuarial for “ultimate” projections.

Salary range: $200-225k+

Familiarity with health information, health information technology and related trends and applications. Familiarity with reports and reporting, managing metrics, and productivity measures. Ability to understand and interpret regulations as well as contractual language. Candidates must be based in Tennessee.

Large energy company needs an individual who will be responsible for managing and coordinating all of the agricultural development activities for a Southern ethynol production facility. The manager will coordinate the business/agriculture related activities associated with farm development:
  • Land acquisition
  • Farm design
  • Feedstock bulk-up
  • Farm establishment
  • Contracting and working with growers
  • Contracting and working with harvest and haul operators. (note: technical management will be conducted by the functional areas)


Requirements:
  • 10 to 15 years of large scale agriculture operations/project management
  • Involved with agriculture projects that were as large as a few thousand acres
  • Managed complex projects
  • Been responsible for multi-million dollar budgets
  • Experience working with state and local agencies is a plus
  • Experience with quality efforts such as six sigma is a plus
  • M.B.A. desirable
  • Certification as an Agronomist or related desirable
  • English required. Spanish is a plus

    Multi–site aluminum extrusion company is seeking a sales manager for one of their southern locations. The successful candidate will plan, organize and manage the organization's sales, marketing, customer service and logistics activities.

    The position responsibilities include providing sales forecasts, establishing product pricing, profit margins and developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies that embody the company's values, business ethics, competitive strategies and human rights responsibilities to ensure all business relationships, negotiations and contracts are in full alignment with corporate initiatives and mandates.
    • Partner with A&D, Manufacturing and Engineering to ensure capability and capacity for new products and volume.
    • Communicate sales goals and strategies to field sales force; invest in sales force potential providing direction and guidance; accompany Account Managers on visits to key customers as required to enhance business relationships and assist with the negotiation of major contracts.
    • Review and authorize sales proposals involving discounts or other deviations from policy and personally generate major proposals.
    • Coordinate forecasts with Planning and Logistics to ensure efficiency and effective utilization of manufacturing equipment and resources.
    • Define customer service strategy, programs and policies.
    • Establish goals, provide direction and monitor results.
    • Work with staff to investigate and resolve complex customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Supervise/lead 6 sales team members covering 2 locations.
    • Manage key accounts.
    Technical or engineering degree preferred. Business or marketing second preference with minimum 7 years previous experience in marketing/sales management in an aluminum extrusion manufacturing environment

    This is a corporate accounting manager position and the right person must have good managerial experience in a corporate accounting role within a large manufacturing organization. Should also have a strong business acumen and be able to drive change through staff and systems to support consolidation, timely reporting and analysis as well as process changes. Will prepare financial schedules and reports, support ad hoc analysis and projects in support of the strategy of the business and coordinate the preparation of period-end closing activity.     • Assisting inspection teams with the inspection of portions of audit work papers to assess the degree of compliance with the Act, the rules of the Board, the Commission, or professional standards in connection with the performance of audits, issuance of reports, and related matters involving issuers
    • Assessing the firms’ quality control structures and the related impact these structures have on audit quality
    • Meeting and interviewing key executives at the firms to (1) understand firms’ quality control structures, (2) understand the audit approach to audit engagements, and (3) further develop and/or identify quality control and/or audit deficiencies
